Our exhibition about The Third Battle of Ypres and Passchendaele is on in Keighley Library, running until the end of November 2017. It has details of the battles in this ‘offensive’ which was a major push to take the Passchendaele ridge where the village was before winter set in. The exhibit takes the form of several hanging banners which contain a transcription of the local newspaper ‘Keighley News’ and we have added further details on the men involved including photographs of them and also the conditions in which they were fighting. Please take a look if you get the chance, the banners are on the pillars downstairs.
