Heritage Lottery Fund Grant – Meeting on Saturday 22 September 2018

We are organising a meeting of interested persons who’d like to get involved with the Project more closely. We know a lot of people have helped over the years and we’re extremely grateful for that but we need to step up a gear if we’re going to achieve the main aim of the Project which is to create a lasting database of information for the future.

The Heritage Lottery Fund is running grants for understanding the Great War and we wish to apply but we need your help to write the application with us, decide what we will do with the funding and it’s an opportunity for lots of people to learn to research the military records we use to find out about local people who served in wartime.

The meeting is on in Keighley Library at 10:00 am for about an hour (possibly longer if people wish to ask more questions) and is on Saturday 22nd September 2018, upstairs in Keighley Library. There is an accessibility lift for anyone who has difficulty with stairs and level access is at the side of the library building on Albert Street, opposite Wetherspoons. We’d be very pleased to see people come along and offer their help and in return we hope to be able to help you with your own learning journey.
You can confirm your interest to us through our website contact page here or telephone Andy on 07792 665336 to register your interest.
