After displaying our research on the six Canadian airmen of Wellington Bomber BK387 at the Haworth 1940s Weekend of 18th and 19th May 2019, we have decided to add this research to the website here: Tewitt Lane Canadian War Memorial.
Despite these men not being from our area, they died here in whilst training for the war effort and defence of our country. These men are buried in Harrogate (Stonefall) Cemetery and we feel that they deserve to be remembered here too.
