“One Street in Parkwood” talk at Keighley Library

On February 14, 2018 I will be giving an illustrated talk entitled "One Street in Parkwood" which follows the fortunes of a number of men from the Parkwood area of Keighley who served during the Great War and will discuss the effects on the area. The talk is hosted by Keighley and District Local History Society at Keighley Library and begins at 7:30 pm on February 14.

Some of the Parkwood men who served in the Great WarThere is a small entrance fee of £1.00 for members and £3.00 for non-members.

Access to the library at this time is through the side entrance on Albert Street and is all level apart from the sloping pavement from North Street. The Library actually closes at 7:00 pm so the main entrance with steps will have been closed. Please go upstairs to the Local Studies Room, there is a lift available next to the foyer area for people who might struggle with the stairs.
