GB – 28th January 2025 – This project has been a real privilege to contribute to. It has raised awareness of the experience of war at a crucial time in world history for local servicemen and servicewomen and has highlighted the valuable work done today by volunteer groups to keep that significant war service and history in living memory, lest we forget.
AS – 28th January – It was a pleasure to be involved in the grant, from the application to its culmination with the wonderful display and unveiling of the New Roll. I feel everyone involved should be very proud of what has been achieved and the legacy they have left for the future.
